About me

I am an Australian citizen based in Canada, following 16 years based in the Netherlands: I like my life as international as I like my law! I have a background in Public International Law, International Criminal Law, International Humanitarian Law, legal theory and research methodology. My passion for space law builds on my experience as an international lawyer, and my commitment is particularly to the regulation of military activities in space.

Currently I am the Executive Director of Women in International Security Canada, and an Arsenault Fellow at McGill Institute of Air and Space Law.

I am an Associate Expert on the Manual on International Law Applicable to Military Activities in Outer Space (MILAMOS); the member for Canada on the International Law Association Space Law Committee; Secretary of the IAF Space Security Committee; and member of the International Institute of Space Law; Women in Aerospace; the Canadian NATO Association; and the International Society for Military Law and the Law of War.
